Even though I have been doing bookkeeping since I was 14 years old, I didn’t know the true extent of what I was doing until 2008 when James and I bought a business. We were using QuickBooks Desktop and it was so much easier than what I had been using in my previous job. But juggling other daily tasks along while learning accounting software, I was overwhelmed and didn’t always know what I was doing. 

I frequently found myself cleaning up the bookkeeping messes I was creating. That business was fun but was only open for a few years. The valuable lessons and skills we learned became the foundation of our future. In fact, I have created a curriculum that over 1,000 accountants have used to learn these skills.

Now we provide the financial data our clients need to make informed business decisions. Helping an entrepreneur find success while maintaining a healthy work-life balance is the most gratifying job ever!
